    Don't know if it's true or not but 5100s are usually listed as being digressive if the valving is mentioned at all.

    Edit: Bilstein's literature lists them as being digressive.

    Also, from the photo op posted I don't think those are 5100s.

    But yeah, theyre apparently digressive. My mistake, I assumed otherwise since I noticed mine were stiff as well at higher speeds.

    They are from Fat Bobs garage. They are made with 5100s they said. So maybe like the toytec?

    Bud air down to 31psi front 30psi rear... go for a drive and report back.

    Your shocks are at set most likely 1.5 front and you have an AAL. Cv angles look decent from the pic. Just go drive it like that first and then start messing with your toytec coilover

    I thought you would want progressive for high speed desert runs. You want more dampening and control over fast desert stuff versus Icons, which will be softer and have less dampening with increased shaft speed.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but this is why you see more Fox/King stuff for off-road racing and Trophy trucks.

    Those look like fatbobsgarage shocks (5100s with there adjuster) and I have them on my truck. Give the springs some time to break in, it looks like they put plenty of preload in. Can you measure from center of hub to fender flare?

    Talking valving and digressive/progressive is just going to confuse things.

    The problem is preload or its tires, or both.

    It isnt valving.

    OP is a noob. Don't over complicate his issue.

    For that size and load rating, you should be at about 31 PSI cold.

    Yup. Came with the new tires on a trade. I want to swap them out though. Just researching the best size/ offset to get right now.
