Yep. You have to desensitize them very slowly. Read the dog, if they're not having fun, or appear scared, stop. It doesn't happen in one session. I also use my air compressor to acclimate them to loud noises.

Find a puppy class. Shouldn't be anything more than socialization and some leash and basic commands. Why? Because your dog needs to learn socialization with other dogs, people, weird sounds, etc. These skills will your dog long term. Books are great and all but nothing beats working around other dogs/people.

She's a 70+/-lb Golden Retriever. I've asked my vet before, he recommended doggy chiropractic and cold laser treatments. I asked for any exercises and he recommended the treatments, I think he recommended them because he charges $279 for this to be honest.

She's a golden retriever, so she is more prone to the hip displaysia. When i had xrays taken last year, the vet said it showed signs of slight arthritis and slight hip displaysia. He said nowhere near the extent to be concerned with surgery. I just want her to bounce around like her old self again. She'll be 6 next month, i've had her on glucosamine and chondroitin since she was 3 to try and help delay this. I've added a few more things to her supplements now. I swapped out the glucosamine and chondroitin pills for Dasuquin twice a day, and she gets fish oil and coconut oil in her food twice a day as well.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Miss Chevy. My best travel companion. She loves the truck too.
