Lube will definitely keep things from sticking when jacking. Also allows you pump faster with less effort.

I can't use the hilift from the back anymore, so I think the 48" will be enough from the slider. I'll try it out tonight to make sure.

 

I've got Alcatraz swim again in June. The water is likely 5-10 degrees cooler this year. I'm gonna come train in your pool. Pee too

 

Riley doesn't give two shits how cold the water is if it means retrieving something. I keep him on the leash when it's cold for that reason.

Yea kids are crazy, mine went swimming this weekend too.

 

Looks to be the same fitting as the one I use for my bbq. We've been filling for years. It's in great shape. Not sure when it's due for the next inspection.

 

Yeah my pool is about 55 right now. Got down to 40's in the middle of winter. That shits cold.

Btw, what kind of fencing is that. We are looking to getting some since the baby is starting crawl.
