Ended up having to run spacers (inch and a quarter) to get the wheels to fit and not rub the caliper. That is the only rubbing that was occurring. No need for a CMC, only had to remove a little bit of the plastic by the air dam. Might have to come down one notch on the clip...got my alignment Saturday morning and all numbers are in the green but the tech advised that the height is stressing the UCA's a bit.

removed the front mud flaps to avoid rubbing but kept the rear so i don't sling anything into a persons windshield behind me. The bilsteins are amazing, the rear absorbs bumps like a champ and the fronts don't drop the nose of the vehicle when breaking.

The block (3") and the 3-leaf AAL have made the rear perfectly level with the front. Almost didn't need the extended rear break lines but had the shop throw them in just to be safe. Barely any vibrations and the tires are certainly not as loud as i expected.

Family friend that has a shop lift and all the tools fell through so i had to scramble and find a shop locally (Pungo Off-Road) that would install the kit. I would have loved to get my hands dirty and do this myself but looking at it, i def do not think it would have come out as good so HUGE shout out to Pungo Off-Road for their efforts and professionalism and turning this around on the same day i brought her in. I couldn't be happier.

Also a HUGE thank you goes out to @White Horse @SpruceTaco @ChadsPride (amongst others that i am forgetting, my apologies) for all of their help and friendly advice and inspiration.

Finally got mine installed last Saturday. haven't taken measurements yet but the rear is sitting around 4"ish with the Dakar leafs and bilstein extended shocks. The front is at about 7" with the spindles and new fox 2.5's (set at 3"). Now that it's settled a bit I'll probably pull the coilovers out and drop them about 2" or so to bring the front down. I'll try and get pictures up at some point, lol

And another couple pieces to note for ANYONE that is on here and thinking about doing a lift of any kind. EVERY STATE HAS A BUMPER HEIGHT LAW. The best advice i can give is first and foremost, check your states bumper height law...then check it against your vehicles gross vehicle weight. The lighter the truck is...the more you are limited in height. The heavier it is...the more you are allowed.

My prerunner is around 5300 GVW, so with that weight, my bumper (measured from road to the bottom of the front and rear bumper) must be under a certain height. For VA i believe it is like 31".

Secondly, use the tire conversion shart that is on here or one you can find online, and see how much your desired tire size will throw off your speedometer. NO SHOP will re-calibrate it to your new tire size because of the strict laws. My best advice here (and the cheapest) is go into your app store and download one of the free GPS Speedometer apps. With the 305/70/16's:

    Speedo - Actual GPS reading
    45 - 47
    55 - 59
    60 - 64
    65 - 69

Gotta find the sweet Craigslist deal, my buddy found them for a third of that price. He was gonna put them on his taco but it was totaled before he got a chance so he gave them to me for what he paid.

What has everyone thought about ride after installing OME leaf packs. Also what is the general consinsius between bilstein and fox shocks. I am trying to figure out best ride for my truck. If I understand correctly bilstein will give much better rides on the road but won't perform as good in the bumps at high speeds due to the valving. I drive primarily in the city

@ChadsPride I run 285 general reds. i have already switched my fn five star 3.5bs -25 offset out for their 0 offset version. The -25 was too much for offroading even with trhe spindles. I would be cautious as those will stick out even further. i mean they will fit on your truck but you will need to drive like a lowered Honda, or run 265s

I have a random question. My 2008 DC currently has toytec adjustable coilovers on it. My spindles will be arriving Thursday from Headstrong. When I installed my coilovers in 2008 I also installed a sway bar relocation bracket that, if I remember correctly shifted the sway bar forward. Should I remove it and put the sway back to stock position since I'll be removing the toytec coilovers and reinstalling the OEM coilovers when installing the spindles. Just looking for advice. And yes I'm keeping my sway bar on the truck.

Why are you taking off the toytecs? if you are removing them then the relocation bracket should be removed as well. the spindal doesn't change the geometry of the suspension so the sway bar can stay in stock location
