Yup, he is 100% right. I live here and I have seen it! In fact a class VI goes by my house, and I have seen that abused as well. Most people are great and won't cause any harm, but it only takes one idiot to close down a road. Usually the idiots are lazy and won't bother trying to figure out where the roads are on their own. If the info is readily available, thats when idiot-induced trouble can happen.

Go on over to ENH and become a member. Go on a run, take the tread lightly course and do a few other required things. After this you will find all of the class VI roads you want and a great group of people that want to protect this valuable resource.

Yah man i get it, i know a few over near seabrook and stuff. But i feel the pain man, we had some "half legal" trails here in Byfield Mass. Fuckers from like CT And shit (no offense, usually jeepers) would come up and trash it like idiots then they dumped a beater gmc jimmy out there and they closed it for good  We did like 3 major trail clean ups out there and it got us another 6 months with them till the jimmy showed up and we couldnt tow it out in time.

I punch myself in the face everytime i see the big CLOSED at the end of it. Idk how i never saw it even though i look there daily. I have two stock front skids. I am trying to get one to fit then im gonna cut up the other one and tack them together and BAM call me a professional fabricator. Just not nice enough outside yet nor do i have the time to start drilling and cutting away at it right now. I will figure it out.

Adding a skid plate is the least of your concerns with that bumper on there haha.

I bought it for the sake of mall crawlery awesomeness and hitting things. Then the whole commute thing occured to me. Only knocked me down .5 mpg so we good.

Anyone up for a Meet up in southeastern MA? There's a place called Star Drive-In in Lakeville, MA that hosts meet ups for classic cars and just held one for Jeep owners. I know a lot of folks like to hit the trails but maybe peeps want to just meet up, eat and check out each other's rides?

No date set but I could look into it if there is enough interest.

Could also do the trails in the Freetown State Forest before or after but they are pretty timid - I don't expect you'd need any lift or sliders afaik but you could get a few free pinstripes.
