I do work overnights...I don't know about "keeping QT flowing". I fuck off for the most part. Typically hiding somewhere until the clock runs out...

Who's the "go to" powdercoaters? In the north Dallas area? I haven't used anyone just yet. And this slider thing may be the next mod.

I'd skip the PC on the sliders and spray paint them

 

I got a good spot. Depending on where the fab guys are located, I could prob drop off both sets, since they are closer to me. Where are the fab guys located?

 

Only reason mine are powdercoated is because I got an amazing deal from someone that backed out of them. Earlier this week I was spray painting the scratches. Save the time and money and rattle can it. You will have to do it again later.

 

What other people said. Just spray paint them.

Get some self etching primer and some cans of rustoleum flat black.

Clean them real well and prime the crap out of them.

They are going to get abused and scratched, I just touch them up with flat back after the normal after trip wash.

 

I can verify this to be true. Have powder coated sliders, have spray painted my powder coated sliders.

 

i did rattle can bed liner on the top of mine for some grip/texture when standing on them but the bottom is good old flat black.

 

Only thing I would have powdercoated would be Front Bumper and Rear.

Everything else like Skids and Sliders are all rattle canned.

 

Life was 180 in the navy. I worked my ass off all day every day my first deployment. Not a joke. We worked 12 hour shifts for 7 days a week for nearly 8 months.

This job is a cake walk comparatively. And I do similar things, just a smaller scale.

 

It's not a trail rig though. I think the PC would hold up better on a mall crawler

 

Yeah, it'll definitely hold up better in the long run if you aren't going to be wheeling.
