Might jump on that TJM Awning deal with Boss4x4... 200$ shipped for a 7'x6.75' awning... It'll motivate me to start my shell project after the suspension.....

shitty wheel bearings has long been a thing with certain model Subarus @emelianenkov

2004-2007 legacy and outbacks had been notorious for them (but they are direct bolt in units)
the older foresters also had issues (but those are not so easy, you gotta press it in)

Yeah, and head gaskets. Probably did one (well, two per car) a week on Subarus when I worked at a shop.

Most automobiles aren't assembled where their company originates from.

    most automobiles are garbage

dang I did not know Subaru started assembling sti models as well in the US as of 2016...

I even underestimated the extent of assembling overseas for the few cars I held true on.

Fine by me, I have a warranty!
Yeah the older press in ones are a bitch, especially when you have to contend with those pesky lower link bolts!
    I wish
Older EJ25's had this issue. They've since revised the motor after 08-09, and it doesn't become an issue unless they overheat the car.

Newer cars are fantastic, and the old ones are amazing compared to similar options of their vintage. Plus we have the highest safety and one of the highest resale ratings... :poking:

My mom has an '01 Outback sedan that needed a front wheel bearing. I'll do most things for her, but not that. Once I learned they weren't bolt-in, I figured it wouldn't be a fun job.
