Does anyone run shock boots or coil over covers on their King RR 2.5" setup? Its real dusty here out in AZ, and I don't want to destroy the seals 10-15k miles. I am looking at some rubber boots for the rears similar to Blistiens and a coilover cover similar to what Icon sells on their site. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

I've heard that those do a solid job of keeping mud and grime in.

Never got anything yet. I added some customizations to my order so I'm expecting it to take the full 10+ weeks. Gives me enough time to save up for the massive shipping bill I'm going to have to pay right before they ship .

Just curious, are people getting shipping notices or are they just showing up?

2.5's. I don't think there was a 2.0 option from DSMS that was listed under the options for my truck.

I live on Oahu. Brah, i got a bumper, Gobi rack and these shocks coming in sometime in the near future (hopefully). I have been waiting almost 16 weeks for my rack, my bumper is taking about the same amount of time as well. Shaaaaatty living so far away from the manufacturers, but well worth the wait and the all the kalo for shipping.

For ship my order it's between 400$- 300$.

DSMS said the boots do more harm than good. Just give the struts a wipe down every so often.

It fkn blows, but that's the price you pay to live in paradise I guess. I got the same quote from Micah at DSMS, I'm expecting it to be more in the $400+ range. Brah, the shipping cost is almost 1/4 the cost for the damn shocks!!! Nuts right!!? Where you live? Oahu? Big I?

fully enclosed boots yes, however most run some type of guard to prevent rocks and crap pitting the shafts...

I got just a regular procrap rubber shock boot and slit it down the long way. Use worm drive type clamp on the shock body and just a zip tie on the lower shaft portion. The back of the shock shaft is exposed yet the front is protected.
