What kind of lift & any rubbing

 

I have Bilstein 5100's all around with OME888 in the front, and a Dakar leaf pack in the rear. I have very little rubbing in reverse, and when I hit larger bumps/inclines while turning. It just hits the plastic fender lining so its not a big deal, have to get around to trimming it one of these days.

 

Finally got the truck back with a new clutch and took her out for a quick weekend climbing trip to bishop, CA.

So whats the deal with a new clutch on a newer truck?

 

Tell me about it! they said it might be a bad part / bad install?? - and caused it to overheat and basically burn up the clutch with only 900miles. They replaced all the parts under warranty (the shitty part was, I had to wait 1.5months for the repair and another 1.5mins to get the truck transported back to me - I got it from out of state and planning to road trip it back from NY>Toronto>LA).

It was a huge pain in the ass but hopefully that's all behind us now.

 

Any compensation from dealer or Toyota??

 

I believe they are sending something in the mail - extended warranty?? they also covered the transportation of the truck (from Toronto to LA) also car rentals during the 3months, although I only rented 2x, since I mostly ride my bike to work. we'll see what they would offer. or if there are any other issues.

 

Trd Pro. I'm going to keep it stock for a long while. I just got rid of a mod'd out jk Wrangler. I like the smooth ride with more than enough ability to go off-roading
