All ya need is a hi viz helmet. At least if you're commuting. They make cool patterns nowadays. Join the ranks of the safety nerds. It's okay we don't judge. Or am I the only weirdo with hi viz stuff and I'm NOT on an adv bike :notsure:

Im mainly against hi viz stuff. The guys that wear them around me, are the year round Harley riders with 75k miles on a 2010.

I have a blue/white Alpinestars Jaws jacket. And I have a flat black Icon Alliance GT helmet. Also, my commute is 3 miles. Im not too worried

not sure if this video will work..

Too quiet :p why are you against hi viz?

whenever I see people around here wearing it they're always on an adv bike. And then there's me

I dont mind that. There is enough red and black to offset the hi viz color.

ah yes I remember your post now. I definitely am in the same boat as you then. I am not willing to get to the level of a hi-viz jacket but I'll throw some gloves (and maybe shoes) in there but that's it. Not trying to for the crossing guard look lol. I wonder though, now that so many people are using hi viz, if people will start "tuning it out"

I just don't think triples are loud, they just whistle. I test road a speedtriple with no baffle on a AR tip (or SC, can't remember) sounded good but not loud, probably why I'll never buy a triple lol

This exhaust was pretty loud on my nightster. I drilled out the baffles.

I'm that guy. Straight hi-viz yellow helmet and hi-viz yellow jacket. Riding around on my BMW G650GS. Don't bother me none. I don't ride a bike to look like a badass. I just like to have fun and be safe.

Idk why the adv guys are more safety oriented lol. I'm sure people get confused when they see me and I'm not dressed like a squid

Anything I can do to tip the odds in my favor I will. Hell, I'd get one of those airbag vests if I could afford it. Like I said, in it for the fun not the fashion. I'd dress like a clown if it kept me from getting hit, but with all the clown hate these days I'd probably get arrested.

I just ordered these two things for this riding season. I don't think I'll get a hi viz jacket, I like my current Scorpion clutch jacket too much. It's got a little bit of reflective stuff in it for night time tho, so there's that.

People keep saying these gloves fit a size big I literally could not find mediums anywhere. So I'm trying out the large to see if they're okay.
