No. It's called coffee. If you have to use more than one syllable to order your coffee, your an asshole....

TW had nothing to do with this one. You dug your own hole by supporting my argument with a page you failed to read first. Though thanks for the credit though :humble:

I never argued about how it worked only that they don't work well. I simply made the point that Diesels today are not performing well or reliably, given the problems I have experienced and seen there is no way I would get a modern diesel which includes the Colorado. You then went on your tangent..

No, you gave me plenty of ammo to support my argument. Then you attempted to straw man your way into another argument about the regen cycle itself and whether that was acceptable even though I never made a comment about that. To top it off you tried to use circular logic by claiming the EGR cycle was the problem and the bypass always solved that, even though that has nothing to do with my warranty comments which were valid.

If I missed anything feel free to continue.

I never made any of those claims actually, I think you are just arguing with yourself. I was simply pointing out the Diesels have problems.

It does according to Car and Driver, but then any "magazine" performance specs are widely variable, depending on which magazine you look at.

It just seems that any time a magazine has something favorable to say about the 3rd gen, it is revered as gospel on here.

And anytime something is negative, then that magazine is a hack publication that obviously knows nothing about trucks.

The braking performances are within a few feet. Different tires can easily account for that variation.

    C&D Colorado:

Still, the truck stopped from 70 mph in 183 feet despite weighing 4493 pounds, which is 12 feet shorter than the aforementioned Ridgeline that weighs 70 pounds less.

    C&D Tacoma:

The Michelins also delivered a bit more skidpad grip, at 0.73 g versus the TRD’s 0.70, and stopped the truck from 70 mph seven feet shorter, at 185 feet. Yet both of those figures still fall short of an equivalent Chevrolet Colorado Crew Cab 4x4, which pulled 0.78 g on the skidpad and stopped from 70 mph in 174 feet.
