Still feel like a noob when it comes to Tacomas/Tacomaworld.

Also lost the sidewall on two of my 37s recently and apparently they don't make that size anymore for 15" wheels so I'm running 35s now.

Not yet.. still in the cards.

I like how it sits a lot more with the new wheels and tires on.. so the "oh my fuck, I have to lift it asap" feeling has totally died. I had killer deals on parts to do it, but they weren't what I'd necessarily pick if I was buying new, so really I think it was just convenient with timing and availability at low price, and not really a "plan."

It'll happen, and then I'll buy more appropriate tires for the lift height then.

Hey guys! So still pretty new to Tacoma world even though I joined a little bit ago. Just started really diving into forums and stuff. Just moved to San Francisco a few months ago and looking to put a 2" to 3" lift on my 2015 Tacoma, wondering if anybody had any suggestions for shops around here or maybe an article that might help me understand what all I need to get for a lift. I really just wanna be able to go get muddy in my truck don't really care to do any rock climbing or such.. any feedback would be awesome. Thanks guys!

    Welcome, Nikki!

What's your budget? Installing yourself or do you have to pay for installation?

I am definitely not capable of installing myself! I might have a few friends I work with to help me out but most likely will need to find a shop to install. And honestly my budget can be whatever it takes to get a good reliable lift done. I don't like to go cheap on my truck haha

    4x4 or 4x2?

I'm pretty sure anything other than OME for mudding use is going to be overkill, but if you want higher end, the market will provide it.

You can do a full OME with UCAs for around $1600 in parts.

4wd. And sorry I'm really new to this all what's OME and UCAs? 1600$ is cheaper than I thought it'd be. And I'd probably have to get new tires as well to fit a 3" lift as well probably right? Just trying what all to factor in this
