    Better start combing google for support on that one, for articles that don't reference passive versus active regen on newer model Diesels and why active regen can lead to early issues with the emisisons system. You know, when the engine and emissions system doesn't get up to operating temperatures like I mentioned.

    My dad has a 2007 Sierra 2500 and his diesel has had no problems. I will extrapolate that to "all diesels are problem free."

    4 here with DPF. No issues. 5 at work with DPF, and no issues. :shrug:
