just 45 minutes here

 

57 minutes to parole. Have a drink, nap out til 13:00, dentist appointment for a cleaning then prepare to start grilling dinner.

For some reason I have a desire for Rolling Rock beer tonight to go with my Jalapeno/cheddar burgers on pretzel buns. Some corn on the cob for a side dish.

Do yourself a favor. If you have never had a burger on a pretzel bun, don't do it! These buns will ruin all other burger buns for you forever. These Bastards are so good, I make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches out of them! They are sooo good!

You have been warned.

 

1 hour left on another 12 hour shift. Going to go home, eat a bowl of cereal and go straight to bed.

 

1 hour and 50 minutes until the weekend begins for me. Need to go to the bank (setting up with BoA because they offered me free $300). then grocery, shower, and back to work at 2pm for a meeting (yay no actual weekend..... ). Then promptly pass out this afternoon; most likely while watching some South Park or futurama reruns on Comedy central. Such an exciting life I lead.

 

20 mins.

 

I have a bowl of Mini-Wheats on break at work for the energy boost. I doubt I could go straight to sleep after eating those.
Off right now, back on for four, then the weekend.

 

Down to the last 54 minutes! thank god.

 

I swear nothing could keep me awake for the next 20 minutes... I almost fell sleep giving report while I paused for the nurse to write down what I was saying lol

Did that the other day after only 1 day off from a long nights rotation. First day in, I was good until about 2 PM, then I had to keep getting up and walking around to stay up. Sat down at 4:30 to type up my shift notes and woke up to my relief shaking me and laughing. Straight up face on the keyboard and max characters on the notes section. I don't even remember falling asleep. Must have just closed my eyes and laid my head down because I didn't feel like I bashed my face or anything.

 

When the yota techs haven't dealt with fluid film before, .

Well, I went from 6 night shifts, got off thursday morning, scheduled to work Friday day shift. So I basically tried to go to bad for just a few hours, woke up at like 9, made it through the day and then hit my second wind at about 9 PM and was up until like midnight, then up at 4 AM for day shift...powered through the day with soda and coffee but I don't like to have that crap at the end of the day because it'll mess up my sleep later...passed out at about 630 PM and slept like a rock until 4 AM again lol

 

Almost 10hrs. You should be good to go for the week.

 

I have been in and out of zombie mode all day too. First of three days here after three nights with one day (Monday) to turn it all around. Tomorrow will be better...fingers crossed!!

 

That's hilarious haha I just know I'm gonna end up doing something like that at one point... thank goodness I'm still orienting and my preceptor gave report I was just nodding off lol but honestly it's not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. It really is kind of a fun time haha
