Thanks for all the good comments, very much appreciated. I originally bought the long bed flares back when the short bed ones were just a dream. I molded them with a heat gun. I have new short bed flares in the garage waiting to get painted. I personally like the bolts because its different than all the others.

The truck is a work in progress but thanks again for all the compliments.

In my opinion there is a reason why Toyota does NOT put sunroofs on these trucks. I watched a NUMI video (I dont remember where I saw it) and while they were discussing the assembly of the truck, they were commenting on how the roof design is made because it gives the cab structural support. So, LOL all you want. Like I said, in my opinion, not a good idea.

    But, it does look good.

True, it is your opinion and thanks for the compliment. The sunroof does offer structural support because of the framework and the way its installed. I don't have statistical data or anything but I'm not worried.

    Hey,

    Go to Classicsofttrim.com

They are the largest sunroof installer in the country. They only use Inalfa Product and it will carry a lifetime warranty. Tell them that Dave Edmondson asked you to call and because I saw you on this site, we will do it for a smoking price, installed. I am the VP of Inalfa, Roadwire, and Classic Soft Trim. Good to see you on here and your interest. We are located in Commerce, for you, however all over the country. Inalfa has over 500 authorized installation centers nationwide.

I got the long bed ones to fit but not perfectly, and especially not good enough to put some paint on them. They finally came out with the short bed ones so I had to get them so that I can get them painted.

Nice little plug there, lol.....We still need to see some pictures of your truck.

Also, do you have any suggestions for the overhead console?

I will post some pictures of the truck from SEMA 2008 and have some additional pictures taken. I guess I better be legit... The truck belongs to Toyota Motor Sales US. It has another 5 months of life, before they crush it. I will have pictures of the headliner taken, as it is Alcantara and the console was modified.

install price was 1370, or installation and the sunroof was that price?

if that includes the sunroof it sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me

Yeah total out the door was 1372.68...that is including the sunroof and the labor for the install. I thought about it for a while and ended up thinking it was definitely worth it. I'm loving it now, damn near 80 degrees here in South Texas!!

    Any leaking?

Had dual sunroofs installed in my Nissan a few years back and both ended leaking, that would be my main concern.

Looks great, and makes the truck unique.
