Its getting bad, Im almost broke.
Im interested in the middle switches (4 switches). When you finish itd be great if you can show us the proper way to pull that overhead console out.

So, how much work am I looking at to mount the middle switch plate in my TRD OR? I'm looking for a place to put my radio mic and that will flap around most excellently up there.

Not much, just removing the overhead console. Its the passenger side switch plate (sunroof) that requires you to cut and take apart the console itself.

Ahh, yeah, that's the part I mean. Will the 4 buttons all be on a single piece? Is it fairly straightforward dremeling and such? I won't need to wire anything more than a mic cable to the passenger side 2, and I already have the 2 on the drivers side stock.

4 button config will be 3 different pieces for those who don't want to swap out all of the panels or just need (1) extra switch. The 5 switch design will require allot more cutting and will be 1-piece.

Cool man, I'll see what ends up happening. I may just need 1 then and screw in the regular metal mic clip instead of the neato pocket clip. Looks cool man, thanks for the info! Looking forward to the product.

Gladly. I'm mounting a Yaesu FTM-400XDR, and routing the mic cable to the top console. I'll use one switch opening for this: https://www.shapeways.com/product/9...ic-mount?key=b9ff5f3eacfd8d43045b8ec5c8d574db
and I have another that is exactly the same except it's a keystone opening for the mic plug.

Here is an example of a similar mount/setup: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/clean-vhf-cb-radio-installs.415584/page-8#post-14326335

or right, seen that. It should work. Not sure how it will hold up if with the weight of the mic overhead on a bumpy road. You may want to wait for the 1-piece or mount it on the sunroof panel. But your welcome to try either.

Hmm, interesting. How do the pieces stay in? I'll probably have to mount it to the sunroof panel then.
