Not sure packages meant much on these trucks. I don't have auto windows, locks, cruise control, or even a sliding rear glass. But you bet your ass I have a washer light and a clock. o_O

So what's better for rock crawling? Progressive, linear or digressive? Or is it just personal opinion. To me digressive seem like they would be great for dropping ledges

Anyone ever lube the CV boot? while changing the LBJ I noticed that the rubber on the CV boot is looking dry. afraid it may crack. Inner CV boot have been changed when I did boot slide about 1.5 years ago. any lubricant spray that I can put on to keep it from drying and cracking?

The FSM is pretty much useless. Does anyone know if the spacer and ABS ring are suppose to be loose on the front hub? Do they lock in place after the CV axle nut is tight? I want get this job over with

I took a long look at the dash in the sunlight, and there is indeed a low fluid indicator adjacent to the gas gauge. Looks like mine is broken from the silicone solution from the RainX.

I bought some Windex washer fluid to replace it, it works better than the old one.

I'm practicing on my new to me Lincoln 180 in preparation of welding on some sliders I bought of CL.

Question about scab plates. Trail gear's scab plates are 3/16" and pretty cheap. Any reason to go to a thinner or thicker metal and fab some on my own? Did I read that our frames are 1/8" steel? should I match the thickness?

I wouldn't waste much time thinking about it. The difference is very small. You will only have to change your settings a small amount, if any at all.

I think I remember mine being loose when I replaced the bearings. That doesn't mean it's right though.

There's tight as in no slop, but they just spin on the hub if that makes sense. Weird thing is I can't pull them off.

Glued some padding down. The super 77 doesn't hold well enough on the tighter turns, going to try something else but really this is just to smooth out under the future vinyl and add some padding while not potentially mold like jute padding would.
