That Nylander dangle to blind pass to Matthews for the snipe. It is insane watching that kid's release. His hands are so close together yet he still gets so much on his shots. That stick has gotta be 75 flex the way he whips it.

 

It's an 82 flex. Standard P92 model.

Unlike Kessel Matthews knows that giving his stick flex and model away won't cause him any issues. I find it funny that everyone knows Kessel plays with a sub 70 flex stick and that's so low no one except him can control it yet he deflects the question when he is asked.

 

Yea it's crazy the flex some of these guys have. I mean if you aren't paying for the sticks. Who cares right?
Some games it looks like they just pick the team up a Kirkland variety pack with how many sticks explode out there.
I wonder how many skates those guys use sticks for on average, a new stick every other game or something?

 

Keep in mind they use sticks in practice too. They get a new stick whenever they feel they need one. The trainers keep piles.

Can't argue. Just plain stupid. What's more stupid is the lack of consistency in the NHL. Crosbys was identical with no call. I realize Marchand has a history but still.

Probably just a penalty. The refs are getting ready for playoffs. Andersen confirmed this yesterday when Kane bopped him on the head. He talked to the ref at the end of the period, basically asked if it was a non call because it was a playoff like game. The ref visibly nodded.

 

Sens with a huge win. Tampa loses, so do the Laughs.

I still can't believe how far the Sens fell. Oh well. The Leafs have the schedule from hell for the last week, 5 games in 7 days, so as long as the Sens play a little better they will get into at least 3rd.
