    Nite 3 of 5.
Pulled a muscle sometime Saturday while waxing the truck? Idk.
Anyway...have barely been able to move the last 3 nites at work. Every step I'm nearly losing my breath. Fortunately, I haven't had any turbine wheels to machine which requires them to be torqued to 250 lb ft.
    Think I'm on the upswing.

In other news....about 15 mins before I was getting ready for work, I heard a loud "thud" downstairs, immediately followed by the house alarm going off.
Grabbed the glock, a small flashlight and headed downstairs where it was pitch black except for in the kitchen. Swept the living room before heading to the alarm to shut it off. Code read "4, back door" (which literally is 5 ft to my right)
    Checked for broken glass....none.
    Kitchen.....none.
    Dining area....none.

Proceeded out the back door and swept the area and double checked for broken glass on the outside......nothing.

Alarm Co. Calls, I tell them not to send the Calvery in. I'm thinking a bird possibly hit it, but at nite???

Slow all night so I've been weighing my options to ditch cable / internet at the house and go strictly to unlimited data on our cell plan. We went 2 years without a TV plan at our old house but lived in range of OTA antenna broadcasts for local channels. We're in the sticks now but have decent verizon cell service. Anyone here done this? I'd save approx $120/mo (1/3 the weekly daycare bill).

Been on TW for a while but just saw this thread. Been on 3rd shift for ~5 years other than a 1 month break for training due to a promotion. I work 4x10s with 4 days on 3 days off. 3 hours left to go and it's my weekend! Hello all my fellow third shifters.

@Fitzwilly I did the opposite sort of. I haven't had cable in like 8 years. But last year I realized I was paying more for my cellphone than I was for internet and I was barely using my phone. I got Google Fi and dropped my cell phone bill from $120/mo to $30 a month. Got a Google Nexus 5X for $150 so the buy in price wasn't too steep. But Fi isn't for everyone. Especially people who use a ton of data. My data usage last month was 0.18GB.

When my back goes out I head straight to the chiropractor, INSTANT relief! I pulled muscle can feel worse if your back is out.

We have been without a TV service for 8-10 years. It can be done!

Seeing as our only Internet option is satellite, we run off mobile data for internet. It tends to suck. But, we only get 1 to 2 bars to begin with.
So still have the dish package for tv.

Class A driver here . Did 2 years hauling groceries for Hannaford Supermarkets (Ny,NE ) . All starts times varied . Had to call for start time every day . Times could be anywhere from 4pm to 2am , 14 hour shift , 10 hours off and right back to work . Averaged 4 hours sleep a day . That pay was good ,$1200 to 1500 a week but not enough to keep me there . I was 52-53 years old at the time and it made me physically ill . Work 8-10 hour days now for a different company and yes , much different pay .

Funny enough, i havent done much to the car. right now im running mostly stock on Firestone Winterforces, and i stuck a 4-1 race header on the car for a few ponies, but its pretty much stock other than that. Now, for the future, im getting the KYB AGX shocks/struts on all 4 corners, and im having some 50% stiffer than stock, 1" lift springs made for me, poly bushings everywhere i can get them, some form of rally tire, probably Maxsport RB3's and adding some adjustable links to the suspension, as the stock suspension can only adjust front toe, thats it.

Sounds like a great job for short term quick money. But not for long term.
