Yep.. Those are basically L-brackets that allow mounting of the awning to your Thule rails.. for my truck, I just bought some thick L-brackets (Simpson Strongtite stuff) and drilled holes.. You could use "U"-type pipe clamps (the U with the nuts on both sides), or just drill and bolt directly into your camper rails..

Bomber products (on IG) sells some sweet mounts to use as well.. I saw those after I sold the truck.

Unless you plan on staying on the main road, you just wasted some money and clearcoat! But black does look so nice for the first day or so after a detail. You should have waited until after offroading and make him earn every penny.

I needed some wax. He said there was practically none. He even used a claybar. It'll make cleaning up the mess from this coming up weekend much easier. :D

Oh, I thought he had to polish to get those results. Looks good, though.
Mine definitely needs some tlc, but my detailer is lazy. Truck is lucky to get washed and some spray on wax.

I've never paid to have any of my vehicles detailed, and never will.

can't wait to buy a house with a garage with a driveway...tired of living in a high-rise condo.

Seriously, me too. But then the house projects will consume all the time for truck projects... Can't win

House is a much better investment than the truck. But truck parts are a drop in the bucket compared to a house

Bought our first hose back in December. Truck and car projects stopped IMMEDIATELY. Then the 4WP show happened and the bug bit hard again

Pretty much. I do not expect to get any money I put into the truck back, which is why I'm gonna keep it till I die :D
