First place I'd try would be Toyota Toyhouse on US 301 just north of I4. If not them I'd try to call Twisted Metal Offroad on Causeway Blvd. in Tampa as well.

I have a Toyota specific shop just a few miles from my house. Don't know much about the place though. Have you personally worked with the two shops you mentioned? If so, what all have they done for you?

I have had work done at both. Toyhouse has an old FJ that they fixed up and lifted. They are trustworthy and fair pricing from my experience and other coworkers use them. Twisted metal off-road fixed my camber tabs on the subframe that flattened. They bent them back and beadwelded the outside tabs to reinforce them. They did a good job and are we're cool with me. Anything I can't do at home I'm taking to to either of these places.

What exactly is the purpose of doing a shackle flip? Softer ride? More flex?

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
I'm starting the search for stuff to do a motor swap on my Runner. If anyone know's of or has a wreaked Tacoma in central Florida with a 00-04 3RZ in it shoot me a PM please. Ideally I would like to buy a complete vehicle and swap over what I need.

    As cheap as possible...

But that's subjective, it really depends on too many factors to say. If a truck ran great, 100K miles and got T-boned but had an E-locker, great interior bits and other things I could sell to offset the cost I would pay more. Higher miles and no parts to sell I would pay less. Ideally, not that I wish anyone to have a wreck would be someone offering up an insurance buy back.

If I end up with a motor, bell housing and complete harness for around 1K I would be happy, of course that would be after selling the shell and any usfull parts. Then I would still need engine mounts, and all the stuff to convert to 5-speed. As much as I like wheeling an auto, the swap is much easier with a manual donor.

ARB Deluxe Bull Bar with Warn Zeon 8S Winch Install

    Initial Lessons Learned

    1. You need to watch several YouTube videos over and over again before trying to understand the ARB instructions.
    A. Keep the YouTube videos running, paused at the stage you are at to insure where the part actually goes.
    B. The ARB instructions have small black and white photos that provide only a small amount of context.
    C. You should have two other people helping you. At least with the heavy portions
    D. After you are done, you may wonder why it took you so long... for something so simple...
    2. You need to rotate the winch head 72 degrees counter-clockwise. Some YouTube videos tate 144 degrees, not sure how that could work
    3. The WARN-provided fair lead does not work with the ARB bumper. You will need a Hawse Offset fairlead (for synthetic rope). Slee Offroad has it.
    4. ARB provides the cables needed for offset/ short remote re-location.
    5. The ARB control box relocation bracket probably won't work without the Warn relocation bracket...
