Last time I went I got put on a trial. It only last 1 day. It was interesting.

Was out looking at my bumper to see if I could mount a cb antenna where Chris suggested, but there's structure underneath. Don't think there's a flat spot to put the mount

 

damn! thats right our bumpers have that lil kick up on the end

 

I was going to put it on the end, right behind the tail light, but not sure if it will work due to the contour of the bumper... I'll take another look later to see if there might be a 3/4" flat spot

I"ve got another idea... take the tonneau rail off and slide an "L" bracket behind it, screw it to the rail and mount the antenna to that. I'll have to shim all the bolts on that side, and maybe put a seal in, but I think that would work

 

that should work

 

yeah, and since they have those sideway's connectors, it won't have to sit that high.
