several years ago I submerged my Alternator in water for several minutes while playing off road. The Next day I started noticing a wining noise coming from the engine bay. I took it to the dealership because it was still under warranty and they said they couldn't hear anything. Well the the noise finally got unbearable so I got a new alternator and 3 idler pulleys just in case. I replaced them all over the weekend and it has been absolutely glorious. The motor sounds like it did when it was brand new!

 

You took them off cause you were having issue with rub? Where was it rubbing?

 

I made her take me to work ... she sat for a week ... slacker...

 

Still have my grill sitting upstairs just waiting to be put on for last two weeks and Amazon is screwing me. My dremel was supposed to be here a week ago, if it doesn't get here today (i talked to the staff) I'm going to get one at ace hardware. Not really something I've done but its just sitting there and I'm itching to do this mod bad!!

I drilled two small holes, added some stainless hardware and mounted it where pictured. Running the wires was just to the left, behind the headlight and around the battery back into the firewall. I have an Pioneer AVH-X5800bhs in my 2007 which has an additional input RCA for video. On the screen there is an option to turns on that camera like an input for the radio (ie HD Radio, Bluetooth, Sirius, etc) Camera positive is wired to amp turn on signal, negative to negative on the head unit. This particular camera you can have guidelines on or off, adjust the width of the guidelines and rotate the camera image to fit your needs.

The objective here was to be able to not bump into what ever is in front of me. Living in a city, I do a lot of parallel parking which are wide enough for SmartCars, not well suite of Double Cab Long Beds. Maximizing every inch I can get (while simultaneously turning the person that may be sitting in the parked car in front or in back of me into a nervous wreck) helps with parking a lot.

 

The pollen is so bad this year where I live that the people in the trailer parks are turning their crystal meth back into Sudafed.

Had my Bilstein 5100's installed and an alignment done. Went for 0.85" on the front. Will be doing the cab mount chop this week and just ordered the @BAMF CMC plates. The joys of running 275's.

 

It was already done when I got the truck, so I asked the previous owner (family) Turns out there is a model of Pop & Lock that allows you to do that. I found it on Amazon.

The first time you put in a key, the lock fits to that key. Just insert, turn and that's the key that works. Nice!
