Hey everyone! I'm new here and have reading a lot of posts.
Recently my secondary air injection system failed.
My 2012 Tacoma currently has 80,000 miles.
The dealer wanted $2100.00 to replace.
I found a bypass Hewitt Tech that I installed about 600 miles ago.
So far the only issue I had was in the first 300 miles. The truck would have a hard start (turn over multiple times without starting)occasionally but then would start. But within the past 300 miles everything seems to be great, no CEL, no limp mode.
Im just not sure if it will pass DEQ in 10 months.
If anyone has questions feel free to ask...
I'll keep you up dated if anything changes too.

    Charles

You would think there might be a recall.
Why did you sell your Tacoma?

Moved from Fl with a 5 mile commute to crazy MD with a 30 mile commute and traffic. The 13mpg and a manual transmission just weren't going to fly here unfortunately :(
