We try to do what we can and think of anything that would be of use to our customers, which is why some of the e-mails/pm's can be long and a lot to digest :taco: (but an informed buyer is a smart buyer ;))

Yeah it's usually crazy busy. But it is usually at least 30 cents cheaper than anywhere else except Costco.

If you're getting premium, its closer to about 60-70 cents/gallon cheaper

I dont agree with this.... the diff drop didnt break his truck, he did. He needs to sell his Taco and go buy a Jeep or something that he can just straddle and clear.... he clearly has no business wheeling a Tacoma

    Here would be my response:
Diff drops DO help the CV angles
Diff drops dont HURT your truck in any way shape, or form
if you bash a diff drop, or anything into a rock like that when wheeling, it's going to break stuff

I have run a diff drop on my 4Runner for about 2 years now and we have wheeled in Colorado and Hawaii in pretty much any kind of terrain (mud, sand, trail, rock, dirt, snow, ice, etc...) and we are always careful about what we decide to "crawl" under the tire and what we decide to "straddle" under the center of the truck...

I think it's all about being smart about wheeling and knowing your rig's capability and ground clearances and picking the right lines.

but I'm glad I read that article though, and I appreciate you tagging me in it!!!

Yea, I'm going to go with "creative genius that is also a little socially awkward" and just wait to see the quality of his product

"you bought my bumper.... youre welcome."

Oh yea, you dont get Vendor of the Year without putting some leg work in and being pretty awesome.

thanks man!!! I appreciate that..... and yea, I love the way the bumper fits in the picture and it looks like exactly what I want, I just hope the quality outweighs the email etiquette

Anyone want a free 05-15 plastic tailgate skin? Got the mobtown plate and don't need it anymore. Rather it go to a member who needs/wants it than toss it

Did you need any of the rivet nuts? I put the plastic skin back over the top of the mobtown plate to protect the PC a little more.

It seemed ok with just the stock hardware, if I notice them getting loose or anything, I'll let you know.

I did lay the plastic cover in place to see if I was going to do the same thing but not really gonna worry about it.

Gotcha. I just tossed my plastic bed cap. Didn't think anyone would need/want it.

who was it on here that did the review of the Tyger tri-fold tonneau cover?

    I'm ordering that,
    my lift,
and my tires when we get back home on Monday...

I just had a few questions about how waterproof the bed will stay with that tonneau cover on..... who else runs a tonneau cover? thoughts?

:jellydance: Although I wouldn't have even gotten this plate if it wasn't 20% off. Trying not to spend too much more money on this pig...

I understand. I'll likely be selling mine within a year or so. Also, off topic, but the kings are sold pending funds/meetup. I plan on doing the transaction saturday the 15th.

Most of the time I wish I got an ACLB so hauling bikes wouldn't be such a pain in the butt. Or done something different besides the swingout. Oh well, live and learn. I'll probably keep it until at least 100K unless I change my mind, I'm at 46K right now. I still like driving it and love the way it looks but I simply don't get out enough or have enough time to go offroading since there's literally nothing legal within an hour of me, so most of the truck's upgrades are just too impractical.

Sorry to hear about your divorce too John. Hope all is working out and well with the kids.
