Tried to look for a thread for this but don't see any. How long is it taking for everyone to get their Form 1 and Form 4 back? Just submitted my form 1 yesterday but I'll update it as things happen.

    Both Trusts:

    Silencer:
    Form 3 Status: Submitted 8/3/2017
    Form 3 Status: Approved: 8/5/2017
    Form 4 Status: Submitted 8/16/2017
    Check Cashed: 8/22/2017
    Approved: 3/7/18
    Stamp in hand: ???

    SBR:
    Form 1 filed: 4/3/2017
    Check cashed: 4/7/2017
    Tax stamp approved: 12/11/17
    Tax stamp received:

    Silencer:
    Form 3 Status: Submitted 10/23/2020
    Form 3 Status: Approved: 10/27/2020
    Form 4 Status: Mailed: 11/9/2020
    Check Cashed: 11/21/20
    Approved:
    Stamp in hand:

    E-formed SBR:
    Form 1 efiled: 12/8/2020
    Card charged: 12/8/2020
    Tax stamp approved: 12/31/2020
    Tax stamp received: 12/31/2020

    Update 6/7/17:
Called ATF and it's in pending since April 6th with an approximate time of 10 months start to finish

    Update 11/18/17:

Just called ATF and my form 1 was approved 12/11/17! (248 Days)!

I have a Form 4 that has been 6 months so far and a Form 1 that is at 4 months. I hope to see the Form 4 July-August timeframe.

My thing is, if I submit form 4 now, between now and 8-9 months the "hearing protection act" might get approved. Then what!?! Ive been debating this since February.

Don't wait for the law to maybe be passed. Just submit it because if it does get passed you will be refunded the $200 anyway. Plus when the pre 41f get processed wait times will drop hard core. Just remember the saying the longer you wait, the longer you wait. That's why I pulled the trigger on the form 1 now. Next will be the form 4 in a couple months but I should have a better idea on wait times then.

Very true! Hopefully all the pre 41f gets processed by June-July. The wait times will definitely drop significantly. I like that saying "the longer you wait, the longer you wait" lol.

On r/NFA there are guys getting stamps back from early July already. I think they'll have them done by the end of the month or middle of May at the latest.

There isnt a truer statement out there!

That would be even better. I'm assuming 90% of people are now waiting for the bill to pass "if" so the amount of forms submitted since January probably is extremely low.

Oh seriously low which is why you are seeing these amazing deals. Either way I plan to get my suppressor in 2-3 months so wait times will be super low. I'm hoping it goes back to the 120 day wait time:fingerscrossed:

Can you use the format from the first post so we can get an idea where everyone is at?

I got mine in the day before they changed the rules and made you have to get a sheriffs sign off even for a gun trust. I think June of last year.
Forms filed: May or June 2016
    Check cashed: Nothing yet
    Tax stamp approved: Nothing yet
    Tax stamp received: Nothing yet

If I were you I'd call in and see what they say about that. You should be close to getting the stamp by now if timelines are right
