Hyperstatic waterproof rating is only 4,000. Most rain jackets are 5x that, and can still wet out. Yikes. Pretty cool idea for lazy group campers though.

 

Anyone know if REI still lets you cash out your dividends?

Edit: nevermind. Just called and they said not until July.

 

Cash it out in July, and then go buy something at REI with the money. Get paid dividends on your dividends.

Nothing says "I believe in being part of a co-op" like trying to game the co-op.

 

We have a 3p Nemo Losi and it's one of the nicest tents we've had. Been in lots of rain and wind- lots of wind. See if you can find one used. Awesome tents.

@Leppz check out Big Agnes if you haven't already. They are a little spendy but quality to weight ratio is amazing. Their customer service is second to none. I got a large rip in the floor of my Copper Spur and the fixed it no questions asked / no charge. I have several friends who have had the same experience. They have various versions of their 3 person lightweight backpacking tents depending on your price point and how "ultra light" you are looking for. Cheers!

My fault had a couple threads pulled up. Will repost.

 

No problem. But on that topic.. I've only seen really old people use that accordion style. Suction cups in the way, and I wouldn't trust it to stay up on a hot day. Check out Costco and get one of their simple twist-fold styles. Fits the Tacoma perfectly.

 

I would have given anything to have one of these last month drinking across NM and AZ! Call me old, but that sun was hot!
