I don't know about not having any in stock??? they are still $900ish cans added to your already $900ish gun! Every wear I go, they have tons of them in stock. I do agree with helping the shops out while the stamp are still in place, but I don't see them running out of them.the turnover is pretty fast on them to make.

Im definitely going to get one now! Especially now that I know for sure I can get refunded on the tax stamp. Do you guys really think this bill will pass? I read that it could possibly take years if it does.

What's everyone's take on AAC? I have a 8 inch pistol that's going to be an sbr so I need something that will warranty that for up to 300 win mag. I was also thinking Dead Air Armament because the don't care about barrel size but man are they pricey

Take my opinion with a grain of salt because I have no experience with centerfire cans and only a form 1 rimfire can but I'll tell you my opinion.
From everything I have read the quality of AAC's customer service has taken a dive in the past 2-3 years.
When I buy a can (other than the one that is currently in jail, a Griffin checkmate QD) it'll be a Griffin Armament, Dead Air, SIG, YHM, or Surefire. There are other good manufacturers but those are just off the top of my head.
When I browse suppressors I look at Length, weight, caliber rating with barrel lengths, full auto rated, attachment type (I prefer a taper mount), and company quality/customer service.

Very good info. Theres so many options these days for cans so its really hard to narrow it down to 1.

Good to know. I figured there was a catch with them being a little cheaper. I think I might go with the Dead Air Armament Sandman S but I just need an excuse to spend that kind of money

Thats assuming 1) It passes 2) They keep that portion in and 3) You purchase ends up falling into the time frame deemed for refunds by the bill. Anyone who buys a suppressor right now based on thinking they will get a refund if/when the bill passes is a fool. Rather buy it cause you want one and dont want to wait 1-2+ years for a potential bill to be passed just to save 200 bucks.

Ive got a couple AAC cans. 762-SDN, TiRant9 and TiRant45. All work great and are fine cans. But at this point I wouldnt recommend them. Theres better options out there, their customer service isnt what it used to be, and the guys who really made AAC what it is are long gone from the company.

Yea I think my best bet is between the rugged razor, silencerco omega or the dead air Sandman S. I have a buddy with the razor and I really like it. I checked and all are rated for 8 inch barrel in 300 blk but the Omega is less versatile.

I paid a down payment on five cans from Rebel Silencers, so I could get a locked in price for, if and when this hearing protection bill passes. At any time I can start the ATF paper work for them or I can wait on the bill.

I second that opinion. Tax credit could be the main reason why its taking so long and will be longer.

Name one gun rated thing that once Gov't regulation was removed didn't cause a run on availability and resulting sales price increase (which puts more money in everyone's pocket but the buyers).

    2 questions:
    1) You guys like Hogue grips & stocks?

    2) What's your recommendation for cheap, low-profile red/green dots?
My dad says stick around $50 for decently acceptable stuff.

Name me one gun regulation that's BEAN removed!!!! The only time there has bean a run on things, is when there's bean a political scare in our nation. WHEN the regulation on silencers are lifted, everybody will start making them because there won't be any FFL control to manufacture them. I'm even going to start making them after the lift. Right now I have to summit my blue prints first and wait for the OK, to assemble/test anything.
