Trying to decide between these 2 covers..

American Tonneau Soft Trifold $249 shipped
    http://www.autoanything.com/tonneau-covers/american-tonneau-tri-fold-tonneau-cover

TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover $289
    http://www.autoanything.com/tonneau-covers/60A2044A0A0.aspx

Anyone have experience with either? I dont store stuff in the bed. Truck is used as a daily driver in winter months. Cover would mainly be used to protect things from rain or prying eyes if I go shopping at home depot etc. Or luggage on a long trip.

I had a tonnopro, but unfortunately I was not at all happy with the fit. In my opinion, it's worth spending the dollars on a nicer Tonno. Or in my case I just went with a camper....

They just don't seat very well on the Tacoma rails, imo, and def not waterproof

I just purchased the TruXedo TruXport Roll-Up Tonneau Cover and so far it's holding up really well. I too don't store stuff in my bed so that's why I purchased a soft roll up cover. The installation was really easy in my opinion. In fact, so easy that my 11 year old installed it for me. I just made sure the bolts were tightened enough.

I had the tonnopro trifold and switched to the access rollup. Tonnopro did its job, but after carrying a few loads, I wanted the convenience of a roll-up.

Access Lorado is what I have and I love it. It looks sharp and I can roll it all the way back in case I need full bed access. Not totally waterproof but how many are?
