I left my windows down on my truck for a couple hours in front of my house and a swarm of bees moved in.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of them?

    Update.
Pulled the citrus air freshner and put some jelly on the windshield.

Went to dinner, came back and they were gone.

    Thanks everyone!

Don't laugh I had this happen one time I put Grape Jelly on the outside of the Windshield and it drew them out so I could get in and close the windows

Do you have any local bee keepers? I work with a few and we've had problems at work that these guys take care of pretty quick.

This is a new one. A beekeeper can help you I'm sure. Probably going to need to get inside there and take some pics though. :D

    Attempting now.
I think they were drawn in by my citrus air freshener.

You could take up smoking cigarettes in your truck if the PBJ method doesn't work. Smoke will drive them away.

I don't think smoke doesn't drive bees away. It helps make them docile, bee keepers use it to calm the hive not to clear it out.

They need to be calm while you help them pack. Doh!

I don't mind riding with the bees as long as they are chill. Just keep the smoke rolling.

Got the air freshener out and jelly placed on the windshield.

If this doesn't work I'll have to call a new keeper tomorrow.

    Lots...see build
They might just leave on their own, too...we had a swarm move into our bbq and it was gone in a couple hours. They like to shelter while they're moving around before they find a new hive location.

Drive down the road at 70 MPH with all the windows open!! That will get them out.

If swarming they are usually very docile anyways. They don't have a home that they fell the need to protect.
