Yeah those were the tents I was looking at. For $100 I can't really go wrong and being 6'1" I need something a bit taller.

 

I might have to snag one.. which are you thinking?

 

Either the Ozarks 10 person or that Wenzel is $117 on Amazon and tempting. I just like having a brick and mortar to return something if anything goes wrong, hence my preference for Walmart (only 40 min away).

This is the one i have they also have the 10 man. Costco is great a out returns as well.

 

I have an Ozark Walmart special 8 person. It's actually held up pretty well. I have probably been rained on the last 8/10 camping trips and it holds its own. I keep thinking I should get a better "name brand" one but that damn thing won't fail.

Stupid easy to set up. I do it alone mostly because my wife turns into a useless blob as soon as we get to a campsite.

I also have a few backpacking tents but my cot doesn't fit in them..

 

One of my buddies has a coleman instant 8 man tent. It really is pretty much instant setup. Would buy if I wasn't trying to be one of the cool kids with a RTT.

 

Never gonna happen.

I don't like being cramped, and want interior room for my shit, and for my kids to have shit and have a place to do somersaults or what have you.

Floor space is cheap.

 

I can hardly ever find ground flat enough for my one man backpacking tent much less the condo-tent you want.

 

we've got a very nice REI Kingdome tent that will hold a queen air bed in the main part of the tent, and has am attachedscreen room thats large enough for a card table and 2 upright chairs (the fly can be extended over the screen room if it rains). its a very nicely made tent.
