i haven't had any problems and I've flexed the shit out of my truck with the RTT on. I have heard of bed rails cracking from when but have never seen it. Like @Porter707 said a set of stiffeners you'll be just fine

Buddy just bought this. He's a really nice guy so I didn't lol to his face but I did lol a bit. He paid 41k

It's actually pretty nice. 5.29s and brand new 37s, ARB front n rear, D60 rear, upgraded 44 front, fox's in all 4 corners, Warn zeon winch brand new w synthetic, rigids, etc.

Has some custom cage work. Don't know much but that tie in to flat stock doesn't look strong. Someone who knows (a fuckton) more than me have an opinion? @Bentrodder @Basikbiker

My advice is to not worry about it unless you have occupants in the tent-then keep the tailgate closed to provide some structure. Of course, bed stiffeners help too.

Jeeps aren't that bad. This will be the 50th year of Sierra Trek (which is a hell of a lot of fun if you ask me) and they have all kinds from stockers to big ass v8 crawlers. PG&E slows the water and they run Fordyce too-tho there's 17' of snow in the meadow they call "camp".

And I'm pretty sure your pal LOLed when you told him you got a Tacoma :D

The price doesn't seem that bad really, Jeeps get crazy money. Not sure about that cage. Looks to be more for show.

This. I have a keen liking to well-built jeeps. They were the OG in the off-road game. They're good rigs, many friends have them. I just prefer toyota's. My previous commander owns 'The Chop Shop' and they have a few sweet rigs rolling around Sacramento.

It's really the color scheme that gets me. I could have a lot of fun in any jeep for sure. They're much much better than a Prius

He thinks my Tacoma is a hero thank you very much :D
