To be fair, it is a fairly popular topic and many threads are available with that info in them. I can't help you with the Super 40, but the Original 40 (single in-single out) sounds great on my truck, even if I do say so myself :).

Take a look at the search results and maybe browse the other sections of the forum too. Plenty of info here, you'll read away hours of your time

ive had the original 40 "American thunder" eddition on my truck for 3 years and love it. i know it's not the super 40, but i think they are pretty similar. pretty much anything from flowmaster will sound goon on the v6...unless they make a glasspack...don't get a glasspack

You sure are pretty new your self to be such a dick to someone else, right under this thread was another you could click on if you don't have anything nice to say on the subject.

My super 40 sounds good to me, it's a little loud for some people, but I like it!

I have the 40 series original (not Delta Flow or Super) and a K&N intake. Granted mine is a 6-spd, but she sounds awesome @ cruising speed and WOT. Also mine is dumped behind the axle, but I have a tonneau cover, tools, sports gear, and a bet mat = no drone.

This should help you out too. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1

ya it is wierd because they still have it on flowmaster.com, but i have heard that flowsound is making pretty much a duplicate of the original 40.
