My old system was was wicked and my old old system was better... i was running 4 kicker cvx in a custom box with 2 infinity kappa comp sets running 4 us audio amps ... my last system was 2 jl audio w3 shallow subs with 2 infinity kappa comp sets and a 1000 watt and 400 watt jl amp... butim hard of hearing now so that didnt work out .. im staying stock this time around

 

This is a very old picture but yes Shok Industries was part of Hal's record then and the new record set this year. We are looking to break 185! Hes now using our Hammertech neo 15s and the Soundigital 35k amps.

As for Db scores in our trucks, my loudest in a 1/2 finished build sealed up Db drag certified was 156.6
I can bass race the 129.9 db class with my mids if i chose to do so but a reasonable score in these tacos for regular setups would be in the 130-140 range

David, Yessir, Just had a massive move from the west end of the country to east end( Toronto )
Also picking up 3 new brands and looking into some additional tooling.
We have a new Self powered unit thats amazing and super small and compact amps for our compact builds.

 

Nice to see another Sundown Audio user on these boards. I picked myself up a V4Z12 for my Taco and put it in a 3 c.f box! Gum for size reference...

 

I am at 124db on my 3rd gen with a JL 12tw3. Sealed box, still need to tune.

 

Nice sub. Makes me wish I had a couple more inches of depth of less kids.

Didn't know you were still around. I was trying to find your self powered unit a couple weeks ago, to compare it to the kicker hideaway but ended up purchasing a kicker
