Ive owned a few tacomas in the past and none of them have been very smooth on dirt roads at lower speeds, but seem to handle a little better with some speed. a regular cab im sure can be a little more bouncy due to the lighter weight.
you dont have to lift your truck, but a higher quality shock may help you.

I'm brining mine to J&L today. Right down the road from me and I've heard some good things about them. My stepdad sends all his costomers and business to Baily's he knows them quite well. I would have gone to them but it's kinda out of my way for an alignment. But if I'm not happy with J&L I'll bring it to baily's later this year

Hmmm J&L, I'll look them up. That's a wonderful drive over the Lincoln Gap on a nice sunny day. Please share your experience with them afterwards.

I'm at the shop now and I feel like I won't be able to get it in Spec with the 885.. how long can I run without new UCA before showing bad wear? I won't be able to order any until September

It depends, but remember that you don't want completely factory specs with a lift. And 2.5" up front is the gray area where you may or may not need UCA's. How far off are you from the desired specs post-lift (0 camber, 0 toe, 2.5 - 3 caster)?

I see. The piece you will likely have trouble with is hitting at least 2.5 caster with the stock UCAs. 0 toe and camber shouldn't be an issue. Good luck.

Yeah, I know. The truck is from Florida. An immaculate specimen to say the least, as far as rust is concerned. I purchased the Fluid Film kit but I don't have a garage and it's been raining so everything is muddy as hell. I need to figure something out to get the Fluid Film applied before the salt starts acting. I saw another post on here where the guy did it with a spray bottle, but he had to heat the Fluid Film and I'm sure he had a nice spot to work.

This is the before and after. They couldn't adjust the caster cuz of seized cams like everyone was saying.. they said everything will be fine and won't cause any uneven or faster wear.

Rough, sorry to hear man. But aftermarket UCA's will help quite a bit to improve those numbers and are far cheaper than doing work on/replacing the LCAs. It all comes down to your comfort level with the current situation. Did the shop seem like they knew what they were doing given the aftermarket setup?

It seemed like they did but I can't really be sure, he just said I shouldn't see any odd wear.. I only run these wheels from now to about October..

I see. The guys in the thread you started have had their lift setups for quite a while now and can better tell you what to expect for tire wear given the alignment results.
