Any chance you have pictures of where you put holes in doors and rocker panels and fenders?

No pictures. Top of rocker panels below doors three holes. Hole in door half way between latch and bottom. Cab one hole below door striker, one hole above top door hinge, one below bottom hinge. Fender have lots of factory holes inside.

    Pretty much stock right now
I've never seen an '03 with anything like those. Maybe someone else has. They look like something from the '80s.

Yeah, I like the look of that cleaned up diff. I may have to do the same thing to mine, if there is anything left under the rust.

Haven't tackled mine yet, but I think these rear diffs and axles are pretty solid and it takes a lot of abuse to rust one through. A good rust converter, prep, paint, and patience are going to be my tools for getting mine back to new this summer.

Excellent story. Thanks for sharing it. I never heard of using never sieze under the patch pieces but it makes sense. I have never had my bed off and was supprised to see the crevices visible from the top with bed removed. I have cleaned them prior to FF but not seen them like that. No wonder they rust out there. Pressure washer with right angle wand is your friend here. One more thing about FF. I strongly suggest removing the tailights and spraying in there. The area directly on top of the rear wheel wells needs protection.
