Bought my 2017 a little over a week ago. First things to come are small things, but are the easiest or most needed things for me. Bed mat, TRD Pro shift knob, all LED bulbs. Next will probably be floor mats, clazzio seat covers. Then its on to the more expensive mods lol

Just don't be in a rush. What you truly want/need vs. what is really just "fluff" (for you) comes with time. Savor the experience and don't shoot your wad all at once.

    • Interior LED (I like the much brighter interior)
    • Homelink mirror (eBay for plug and play)
    • Crux adapter (I like being able to mirror my phone)
    • Reverse cam mod (everyone else is doing it!)
    • Weathertech Floor liners (preferred over husky because it keeps it's form although I did like the grip of the husky more)
    • Husky mud flaps (bsm died already and dealership blamed mud. Luckily it was broken when I bought the truck so the dealership covered it)
    • Lund nerf bars (Amazon had a rebate)
    • Bed mat (plastic on plastic made things slide all around)
    • Cargo net (honestly, was afraid bed mat would fly out)
    • Center cubby organizer (the black hole of a cubby is now much more organized)
    • Pop N lock (ain't no body got time for keys)
    I regret nothing!
Edit: got fancy and put in bullets.

Here's my contribution to some of my must have's (not in any particular order):

    1. Bed mat/rug (protects bed)
    2. Tonneau cover (tri folding hard cover, keeps bed clean, dry and secure)
    3. Rubberized all weather mats and seat covers
    4. Hondo Garage phone mount (this is the best solution i've found)
    5. Dash cam mounted to the Gopro mount
    6. Rear diff breather mod & AC mod (cheap mods)
    7. Center console organizer
    8. Brighter backup reverse light bulbs
    9. Round blind spot mirrors
    10. Running boards/side steps (help you get in and out, offers some protection and looks good)
    11. Mud flaps/guards (to keep truck clean)
    12. Color coded side molding (to protect from door dings)

Others: Pop & lock, tow strap/tie down straps, locking fuel cap, headlight/foglight/interior bulb upgrades, tint, wheel locks, underbody spray (if you live in a place where they salt the roads) and maybe air filter upgrade coupled with a flow accelerator.

:rofl:The REAL list of things you need:

    Pep boys hood flame stickers

Type R badges for the tail gate

    Eye lash headlight attachments

    Chromed out shift knob

And those naked lady mud flaps like you seen on 18 wheelers.

"Only God can judge me" decal on your back window

    side rails,
Side step rails, tonneau cover - Gator FX, Pop n Lock for tailgate tied into remote opener. Maybe bed extender next so I can haul motorcycle and sell trailer. Not sure what else, but I won't buy stuff just to buy it if I won't be off road or think some stuff junks up the appearance, which I see alot. JMO though.

The things that made the biggest difference so far in my *liking* my truck

    1. The damn overpriced TRD Pro front grill (yes, made me like looking at my truck's front end again)!!!
    2. Husky floor mats (got the OEM ones initially and they are weak...)
    3. Relentless Fab "Stingray" Winch Bumper with Winch (not installed yet)
    https://www.relentlessfabrication.c...ucts/2016-tacoma-stingray-lo-pro-winch-bumper
    4. Bottle of Bourbon to drown the sorrows of the damn shitty shifting transmission.......

    - looking for seat covers and softopper next....
