? How bad is it ?

I was changing my front brake pads & i took apart the caliper. I don't think i should have done that because brake fluid was leaking everywhere. So i put the brake pads on & bolted back everything. I also bled the brakes & it did not hold pressure, so the question is since I took the caliper apart, is there a repair kit or do i need a new one?

They are around $28 from toyota. contains new o rings dust seals ring clips. the easiest way to do it is remove the caliper drain any fluid left from the bleeder screw it all the way out and remove ring clips put a 2x4 where the pads would go and blow compressed air into the caliper the pistons will push themselves out then rebuild the same way it came apart just be sure to lube up the new seals with white grease before assy any ?s just pm me

I was working on my last truck and did something similar. You have split brake lines (one to the front, and one to the rear). It wouldn't be a bad idea to take it to an auto shop and have them bleed the line, and refill it. Be careful driving, but with the split brake line you will still have pressure to either the front or back (whichever you did not mess up). The last thing you want to do is think you have it fixed, and find out the wrong way that it wasn't.
