I've been asked a bunch of times about the setup I have on my truck, so I decided to make a build up thread.

    Vitals: Stock
    2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport

    Shortly after purchase
With Tonneau cover, I think it was my first "mod"
You can also see my LED blue light for the Fire Dept.

    A little less stock
    Fog Light Mod
    Painted Engine Cover

    20% Window Tint (Now it's at 3%)

Clear Headlight Mod with some cheap lights from advance auto while I waited for my chrome bulbs
    [IMG]

Debadged, then Vinyl badges from sockmonkey, and grillcraft upper
    [IMG]

Red interior LED's in shifter, and overhead light. (Poor picture, it shows up much better)
    Home made Bumper plugs
    [IMG]

Black lower bumper vinyl, and stock toyota skid plate
    [IMG]

3" toytec lift: 884 Coils with top plate spacer
    Rear AAL
    All with stock TRD shocks

285/70/17 BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO Tires
No spacers in this picture, on stock 17" sport rims.

Also, unseen, Tom Woods Custom 1 Piece driveshaft

    With one of my Toys
    Grillcraft Lower

As of Dec 08 with 1/4" wheel spacers (Wheelers) on front wheels (I ran these spacers after taking off the front washers on the lugnuts, to gain back some threads. I still had rubbing with this setup, but not as much as I did without spacers.)

Dual exhaust: Flowmaster Delta Flow 40, Single in, Dual out 2.5" pipe with Black chrome exhaust tips
    Rear receiver shackle

Hi Lift Jack mounted in bed

Wow, you guys are quick! I can't remember the exact store I bought it from, but it is called the 4xRack.

    http://www.hi-lift.com/accessories/index.html

It is very sturdy, haven't had any issues with it at all. The bolts also have holes so you can mount small locks in there to keep it secured.

Very, very nice! I like it a lot. That skid plate though needs to be black. Other than that, I love the transformation.

I've played around with this idea a bunch of times, but to me, when they are black, they disappear underneath with the rest of the black body, especially with my black lower bumper. If I could pick up another skid really cheaply, I might try it, but for now I like the contrast of the stock skid.

Thanks for the kind words though! It's definitely come a long way!

Hey man, I wad thinking about doing a similar lift to this in my truck. what is the story with rubbing/ spacers on this. Will I need to add wheel spacers to the front or do any cutting? I have an 05 sport with stock 17" rims. Thanks. NICE TRUCK!!! that thing is tough.

It's been a while, I remember some rubbing on the stock UCA and a small spot on a piece of the frame. 1/4" spacers helped a little bit, but there was still some rubbing.

lol thanks man! I love it too. Took a long time of saving up. I would love to do so many other things too! My two most expensive wants right now are a supercharger and a sunroof. As the weather gets nicer, a sunroof sounds better and better!
