I've never seen one with winglets before. How long has that option been out?

It is very new. Only the CJ, CJ1, and CJ3 have been approved. CJ2 is next and should have FAA approval this year.
It's supposed to add up to 28% fuel efficiency in the CJ and CJ1.

 28% is huge! Most winglet mods advertise around 7% increase. Who makes the winglets? I'll have to keep an eye out for one.

9, that's NINE, C-130s just flew by my house. They were headed NW at maybe 3k AGL, staggered about a half mile apart.

    WTF is it WWIII already?

Got an Army base nearby with a bunch of uniformed bullet-stoppers needing jump training?

Are they a bunch of H models coming out of phase maintenance from McConnell?

    Declaring war on Nebraska?

    :notsure:

Fort Riley is where I think they were heading. It's about 120 miles away, and they were too low for jump training? I dunno.
McConnell is SW of here, so no.
We can invade Nebraska with .22s ;)

I've lived here for 40 years and I've seen lots of military planes fly over. I've had A-10s go over so low my hair got ruffled! I shit you not. But I have NEVER seen that many C-130s together, ever. Is Trump planning to invade Syria? Good thing I have a gas mask, huh?

Seriously, this made me think that something is up.

I may have a few from a airshow we had a couple of weeks ago the thunderbirds were here. We can take our phones on shift but we were off just watching so it was no issue air boss had the airspace plus a tfr was in effect.

Some great classics there and of course the warthog (kinda classic).

I always enjoy taking people to their first air show, and gotta say I'm impressed too, seeing the high speed passes when the aircraft is close overhead but the noise/sound is clearly behind it.

Ya I agree I love air shows been in this business 15 years never fails to amaze me. In North Carolina I worked at a bombing range for the navy. F-18s used to come in all the time so bomb drops from blocks 10 to 20 to a point the size of a dime it's amazing an a-10s would do strafing runs blew my mind that much lead. Blue angels would come pratice their routines I'm not biased to any branch of service but I've had pleasure doing business with army/Air Force/ an Navy IMHO navy was the best. No pics or vids of it was secret squirrel status out there.
