You can use a pry bar for moving it on the passenger side (that's the side for me) when the shock rotates and the coil hose is in the way. Just use a bar to rotate it back and hold it back while you wrench in the other direction.

Why 650? Don't want to have to put 1/4" spacers like Sam since he already maxed out for Taco lean with all the extra weight up front. Well u can use it to open your beer. Just LMK!

Wrench doesn't work. Don't worry. Also, 700# will help him with less preload. I'm cranked up on 650s.

Pretty much all coilovers can be difficult to adjust even with using spanner wrenches. The spanner wrench grabs the collar and can help to prevent damage to the holes but when the coilover is on the truck using a spanner can be difficult, there is just not enough room and/or leverage. I personally have worked with several coilovers and none are very cooperative. The higher the spring rate the harder it is to adjust as well, so keep this in mind for those running the 700lb springs. I have 550lb springs on my Tacoma and I still have a somewhat difficult making the adjustments. When trying to add additional preload with a 700lb spring your best bet would be to use a coil compressor. There are some that can be used with the coilover on the truck, in those cases the coilover would not have to be removed in order to make adjustments.

In general, when a coil is under tension there is energy stored within the coil spring and anytime you are working with something like that there is the potential for damage or injury. So please take that into consideration when making any adjustments to any coilover.

Also don't over loosen the pinch bolt. If it is hard to adjust it is not a good idea to back the bolt off more. Doing so can cause the collar to jump threads. I have seen way too many people do this with the Fox's.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me or give me a call. :)

Another thing about making the adjustments on the truck. You need to make sure the wheels are completely off of the ground and you can spray some spray lube on the collar and let it set in, before attempting to make an adjustment.

The ADS spanner wrench will not work at all with my 700lb springs. I don't know if it'll work with the 650's or on other people's coilovers, but they don't work on mine with the 700's. The spanner wrench body/handle will touch the spring before the "pin" can seat in the collar. Of course you can use it if you use a spring compressor, but at that point you can just spin it with your hand. As said before, a 5/16" drift punch will fit perfectly in the collar.
You'll pretty much ruin the holes in the collar if you try to use anything that doesn't seat all the way in the hole. I wouldn't even try to spin the collar with the ADS spanner if the pin doesn't reach all the way in.

The best way to spin any coilover collars is with a 12-14'' punch. Period. more leverage then any spanner can get as its longer.

just get the right size one and you'll be good. I've turned mine no problem that way.

I would think passenger would be R, driver-L. Which blocks? The sway bar relocation blocks?

3" until it settles. I'll measure again in a few weeks and crank accordingly.
