Before I switched to fiber it used to be that. 5M up, 25M down. Now the upload is as fast if not a tad faster.

I'm fast as fuck with texting. This might be one reason I have carpal tunnel and repetitive stress issues with my hands...

 

My first "mobile phone" vaguely resembled a CB radio. I would call a mobile operator who would patch me through to a land line. Then the operator would stay on the line while I talked to who ever. Then I stepped up to a satchel phone. (In a canvas bag) Next was the brick phone. A flip phone seemed like Star Wars shit!

I could too....I'm getting better with the smart phone, but the flip phone was easier to text one handed

 

I knew how many times exactly to hit each number to get the letter I wanted. Plus I could feel it by the buttons. I never used T9. Just went from that method of typing to full key pad.
