Never an asshole to people on bikes unless they riding like assholes .... my buddy was killed by a DD while riding his bike to get his gf food

 

I hear ya!I lost 5 friends(2 of them being best friends i grew up with my entire life)to motorcycle accidents in the last yr and a half.None of them were at fault.What sucks is they all were almost arriving to there destinations!

 

Also The Man @tcBob can't attend both meets back to back He had to write one off the list

I'm fixing up a 79' honda 750k for the wifey and i'm a little hesitant for that same reason.

Someone on here was asking what the deal was for rebuilding icons. Its purely tools related. I dont have icons so the putchase of the tools isnt interesting to my. King also has a specialty tool. In the end its all a matter of following simple schematics and paying attention to detail. Also, I was once told that icon nitrogen resis need to be at perfect psi whereas say kings can be plus or minus a psi or 2 to perform just fine. Never looked into that one further.

Front and mid .. rear next weekend... also lifted the front another 1.5 inches but from the looks of it i lost it with the skids

 

My buddy got hime from work and his prego gf asked him for tacos from 3 blocks away so he jumoed on his bike... going up a hill a drunk drive was coming down the hill on the wrong side hit him head on ... he broke his neck on the fall

 

You shouldn't... I have my avid light bar and front skid that totaled about 95-100 lbs and it didn't drop my truck at all. Different story if I add that mid skid and a plate front bumper.

 

Ill.let them settle give them a few days and find a nice flat spot to measure

 

Yea just need the tools. Retainer remover, very long pliers, clamp. Seal O-rings cost you 20 bucks per shocks and the oil 35 bucks for half gallon. Nitro is about 150psi
