I will be the one to say it, I'm not so sure another (don't we have one already?) Lift will get done that day...you should definitely come out and meet us all though. Maybe we can arrange another install day for you if it doesn't get done that day.

 

If you're having to go through your parents they won't go for that.

This is true. This stuff takes a lot of man power, time, patience, beer, knowledge, beer, etc. I'll link the mod day thread here in a second.

You said you are in Birmingham. Chris (@TheTacoma) is very gracious with his time and resources when members need it. I don't want to commit him to anything, but he has a good spot for it when he's available. And there are several of us in the vicinity that would be more than happy to lend a hand.

 

Dude if that was all I had to do that day, it would have taken like an hour. And we were beating around the bush on mine too because it's an dirty, evil bitch that won't do a fucking thing until she's manhandled the way she likes it.

 

Yeah I might come out and meet some of you guys, you'll have to excuse my stock truck though. Honestly the parts still have to be ordered and my dad is currently in the hospital after having a thyroid tumor removed yesterday, so I probably am not gonna be able to swing April 14th. Plus if a shop does it then that's less explaining I have to do to my parents. Plus because I have offered to install it myself or at a mod day they will pay for part installation since they want a shop so badly so.. less work for me I guess.

I presume their names are on the title/lein. Less heartache and argument between you the better. If you catch a serious mod bug and you're a responsible fella, they'll be cool with you transforming it how you want it and will be less likely to insist a shop. Doing your own work is rewarding as hell.
