Definitely pulling the bumper off. All it takes is one slip and that powder coat is toast. Plus I want to put a little adhesive on the trim to make sure it stays in place and the side brackets are a new style that house he external res so I want to make sure those all line up with the lower spacers and whatnot. I'll take more pictures for the install and then I'll be doing the full write up

Cool. Looking forward to the pics. Sub'd! After you told me about the custom mounts for the reservoirs, I contacted CBI and they are shipping them to me tomorrow.

Glad I could help! The main reason for my write up will be for all the questions on hardware that I had to ask and find out the hard/time consuming way... so once I'm done I hope it's the thread to go to on finding out all the information on installing their set ups... plus it helps I had unlimited time with Nathan to pick his brain on building the perfect set up and a few IG members who have helped me out a lot!

Saw the update in the first post.....those look GREAT!!! It reinforces my decision to go with CBI for my truck....now to save and wait. On my first go I will be getting the rear bumper with swingout, bolt on rock sliders and the overland bed rack. I want a front bumper and winch but those will probably have to wait until I save more.

I am currently deployed so posts and updates will be far and few between but I appreciate all of your kind words and compliments! I will continue my build once I return and hopefully have a few goodies to add!

    thanks for the support!

I loved the grill but ended up getting a Pro grill for Christmas so I ended up using the Pro over the BAMF but you can't go wrong either way!

you wont regret going with CBI

    thanks man!

    appreciate the kind words!

not difficult at all but its a little nerve wracking cutting something you can't go back and fix easily... best to cut lower than needed and then trim to your final fitment...

Great rig! I had a question on the bushwacker flares. I bought a set but now debating if I want to put them on. I didn't realize they only bolt from underneath and nothing that really bolts to the body similar to the OEM fenders. I also saw a thread where the flares really scratched up the paint, now if they dont shift down, then I don't care but his had shifted 1/4inch or so. Do you have any rubbing/scratching issues? Did you use any kind of weatherseal foam to help protect the body? Thanks in advance!

There's already a rubber seal that's provided with the kit but ultimately if you're worried about scratches I wouldn't do it... there may be slight rubbing but in all honesty its a truck and an offroad one at that so im not sweating it like I would a car ya know? I also plan on cutting these up and making them true cut away flares and bolt them to the fender. if you want flares though for wider wheels/fender protection the bushwackers are honestly the nicest design out there unless you go full fiberglass fenders IMO... hope this helps!
