Curious why you would get riding shoes in hi-viz? It seems like it wouldn't help at all with creating awareness, since your shoes are pretty hidden while riding a bike. I have a hi-viz helmet and gloves, but I'm not really about anything else hi-viz, and even the gloves seem kind of pointless to me. Unless you literally go full retard like the UK police above, I don't think one or two pieces of hi-viz gear is really going to make that difference. If someone doesn't see you, they don't see you. I'd like to think my helmet has helped at some points but some people just do quick glances either pulling out or changing lanes and I don't think gloves or helmet by themselves is really going to do anything.

I think it may help a bit, my feet are angled forward a bit anyways being on a super sport. My thinking is, if all my extremities are hi-viz, it may help with depth perception, kinda like when people put those two lights near the bottom of their bikes. Also the bottoms of the soles are partially hi-viz, so again with my feet being angled forward, it will help with people behind me. Obviously in a high traffic situation, a hi-viz helmet works best since you're a little taller than everyone else, but I've already got that in my hi-viz arsenal. Also my current riding shoes are getting worn out, so I figured why not give em a try.

My hi-viz has about 40,000 miles on it now, so its not quite so bright anymore. But I ride an adventure bike these days, so I fit in with that mentality.

How is bright shoes and gloves going to help anyone? Those are the two things no one is going to be able to see well no matter what color they are. That's like wearing hi viz underwear.....

It helps with people in front of me..?

Also I already have the helmet so...

Also your "hi viz underwear" comparison is pretty terrible, frankly.

Weird I can see all of these riders gloves and shoes, but not their underwear, imagine that. :homer:

1985 Yamaha rz500, ( basically just the frame, gas tank, and motor) The rest is Yamaha R6 / R1.

Best part is it has a clean Street legal California title.

Not sure what to say, It is a hand built 4-4 system made by "Jim Lomas", amazing work, If I remember correctly this system is $3,000+ U.S.

It is a 2-stroke, if you are wondering why the exhaust looks different than a typical modern sportbike.
