Yea, it was too late. I tried steering it and it went the other direction into a telephone pole. But it was better the pole than the wall behind it.

By the way, I'll sell those faded headlights for $20 along with the little side lights. As you can see in the picture, they are in OK condition. But they will still dimmer you on through the night

Cooper STT PRO's. Havnt had a puncture yet in the 1+ year ive had them. Ive ran over quite alot of things. Really tough tire.

Tire pressure also plays a big role. Most people run tires with too much air! Always use recommend air pressure. .

I second the STTs. I had them for about five years on a xterra 285x75r16. Lasted about 60k and no problems. It was a little softer of a tire though.

I was referring to the newer STT Pro. I believe they came out in June of 2015. Though the regular STT are nice as well.

Why not go buy a plug kit and just plug it and drive more?

Sharp little rocks cut these tires rather frequently. (stock Goodyear Wranglers w/Kevlar sidewalls)

But kevlar!! That stuff stops bullets.

*I had goodyear MTRs the first year they came out with the kevlar and I too kept popping them. Awesome grip in the rocks though. My next set of tires I went BFG MTs, I don't like the tread on the new MTRs.

Yep, Kevlar stops bullets. They should put a ply or two under the treads...

That sucks, but side note what's your review of your air pump, seems you might get some good use out of it. Need to pick up one soon, just still undecided.

I like the Viair 400 series compressor. It works well on the stock tires. If I had significantly larger tires I would prolly look at a higher capacity Viair.
Edit: I paid about $225 for the 400.
