If you knew what that truck was capable of and what it actually is you wouldn't be saying that...it's a Toyota Hilux that would put our trucks to shame.

I just hope they get rid of the Goodyear tires. Would be great if the PRO models went to KO2's but I think ford Raptor has that deal all wrapped up. Wishful thinking...

Aside from the paint and the bowtie, I think it looks kinda badass. That hood would be even harder to see over than the Sport hood though.

Rumors I have heard are all about the Tundra. New sport model & no Pro. I will be in the market around the end of the year and my next truck was going to be a Tundra Pro so this is bad news to me. The dealer I bought the last 2 from had not heard that the Pro was discontinued for 2018. I have heard that there will be new drivetrains for 2019 and that is when I am hearing rumors of a diesel. I was thinking about waiting for what a lot of people say will be MPG gains but I really do not want to wait for the 2019 models. If Toyota does make major drivetrain improvements you know dealers will not be discounting like they are with the Gen3s. I figure any gain in MPGs will be offset by the purchase price.

Same here, but for a Tacoma. I'm hoping the NY Auto Show releases some info, but everything so far is about the Tundra changes.

I've been thinking about the sport, but I actually NEED a rear locker. I've used it to get home several times this winter. I know I can add one after market, but the point of a Taco is having an offroad machine without having to do that. I'm really not interested in MALL control, so I wouldn't mind losing that. If the dealer can order option and color packages that don't show up on the web site, that will solve some of my issues. But I'm not sure I could tolerate the shifty 6 speed AT:confused:
