Procomp nitro 3" and 1 leveling kit + 285's

hello have anybody used this leveling kit on yalls taco
Pro Comp Nitro 3 Inch Leveling Lift Kit - 65205K

Planing on put this one with 285/75 r16
Guys at 4wp told me they can fit all the way to 33's.
Can anybody help me out with this

 

I do have a lift similar to yours. I have the 3" revtek leveling kit installed by Toyota. I run a 285 75 16 tire with no rubbing or cutting required.

 

I have this lift with 17x8.5 -6 offset Fuel Trophy wheels and 285/70/17 Pro Comp AT Sport tires. No issues at all.

 

Here you go. 17x 9, -6 off set wheels. 285/70/17 Falken at3w's. Pro Comp 3/1 nitro setup. I like it so far. Rides like stock to me on freeway. On a bumpy back ally I think I feel a tad more but just go slower. I feel a lot more higher off ground than stock.

 

Planning on getting the same done this coming week. How do you like it?

 

Anyone know if I can run 17x9 -12 offset with 285/70/17 on 5100 with ome 888 and AAL?

oh no not at all..... if you search, there is a thread dedicated to the OME 888s, 5100s, and 285s so you can find pictures galore (a lot of guys run that exact setup that youre talking about)

Thanks man, I was searching but maybe not hard enough. I know ppl post pix of them running 285 but not the wheels spec as in offset so I wasn't sure if with the offset I'm going to run will rub. Thanks again!

 

you should be good. and worst case, you might have to get a heat gun out and reform the plastic a little.... but you should be just fine with that setup

Running 285s bought the 3" 5100 Bilstein lift kit and 888s like he suggested. New UCAs And rear AAL. From headstrongoffroad.com

NICE! Any rubbing?

 

No rubbing at all without mudflaps. I drove it without mudflaps for awhile. Recently put on some Plasticolor mudflaps from my local O'Reilly's and when my wheels are almost all the way turned as in making a u-turn they just barely rub but nothing that damages anything. Everything is still there. Here are some more recent pics of me after driving some pretty gnarly trails out in anza borrego, ca.

 

Really digging your setup. How do you like the Falken A/Ts?

And any other suspension upgrades, ie shocks?

Why did you go with the pro comp kit instead of something like this, http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-745c.html, comes with shocks.

Eventually I'm going to go with icon stage 4 but figured I would save some money for now. Just bought truck in December and have already spent a good deal on accessories. Plus might as well use the suspension (shocks and springs) I have for now since they are new. This entire setup (lift kit, falken tires, and wheels cost $1500 with me doing the labor myself). I was at 4 wheel parts and they sell same setup using Procomp Tires instead installed for $3000 which they sell to a local Toyota dealer which marks up their trucks $7k. So for now this will do.

What wheels are you running ?

 

Wildpeaks. I also just swapped out rear to 2 inch blocks due to weight of camper sagging the truck. Now its level again with 3 up front 2 in rear.

 

Hockey pucks and a big tire.. sounds like a win win
