What engine does your Vette have? On my WS6, I could drop the clutch at barely 2000rpm and smoke the tires all day long. I didn't have traction though. The weak point on these cars in the rear end.

LS1. I think I feathered it more than straight dropped it.

Either that or something's wrong and I'm down on power. I broke loose taking a right hand turn and got the TC to kick in, but from a dead stop it won't break traction from a roll. I only had that one try to really dump it, but I think it's probably user error. A good set of sticky 275mm Michelins probably helps as well.

You have deeper pockets than I do, my friend. I was convinced my STi was a timebomb, whether or not it truly was.

happy friday yall! good morning! excited for the weekend even though I will be doing plenty of house related work. Probably start painting the basement. Burned all the carpet and foam I pulled up last weekend. Literally found like 20-30 razor blades underneath the carpet.

 

I feel ya - I watched the flooding of my basement last night and there was nothing I could do about it. The 2x4 footing that goes into the foundation at the bottom of my stairs into the basement is seeping water up and leaking. My only solution is to cut the 2x4's and remove them, repour cement and rebuild the stairs. Meanwhile it has to be dry to do any of this...
